Not Basics creates versatile, wire-free underwear that prioritizes comfort and support. The range includes thongs, boxers, bikinis, and high-waisted briefs, along with double-layered, underwire-free bras—all designed to mix and match effortlessly.

A Sustainable Approach to Fashion Waste

Tackling the issue of clothing overproduction, Not Basics repurposes deadstock cotton T-shirts into high-quality underwear. Since launching in 2021, the brand has upcycled over 1,500 kg of fabric, preventing waste from ending up in landfills.

Ethical Production & Materials

• 85% of materials come from sustainably sourced deadstock.
• 95% cotton, 5% elastane ensures softness and the right amount of stretch.
• Packaging is 100% recycled and recyclable.
• Manufacturing happens in a small-scale sample room in Bangladesh, where workers receive above-average wages, maternity leave, and bi-yearly bonuses.

Giving Back & Celebrating Diversity

As a 1% for the Planet member, Not Basics donates 1% of annual sales to environmental causes and has planted over 400 trees.

Inclusivity is at the heart of the brand, with real women of all sizes and ages modeling their designs. Unlike many brands, Not Basics fits all sizes during development, ensuring the perfect fit for every body type.
